  • Day01 Arrival in Bangkok
    Welcome to Bangkok! Our guide and driver will greet you at the arrival hall of the airport with an identifying signboard. A brief orientation will be given on the way to the chosen hotel. After check-in, you may either rest at the hotel or walk around the neighborhood.

    Day02 Bangkok
    Today your memorable tour starts! Our first stop is Wat Pho, a must-see sight famous for its huge and impressive Reclining Buddha. Next we proceed to the Grand Palace for the finest examples of Thai architecture. The magnificent buildings together with the significant WatPhraKaew give visitors great insight into the old royal court and Thai culture. Lunch is served at a local popular restaurant. After that, we board a private long-tail boat onto Klong Bang Luang. We will take time to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and observe the fancy shops, local temples and vendors as the boat moving slowly along the waterway. We then stop at Baan Silapin, an inspiring art gallery. Here you can either make crafts in an art workshop or walk around the neighborhood at leisure. A traditional Thai puppet performance comes next (if available). We conclude the day after visiting WatArun, which attracts people with its distinct and beautiful ornaments decorated all over the buildings.

    Day03 Bangkok
    Let's experience something different today. We'll leave the hotel early and drive for two hours to DamnoenSaduak Floating Market, which features on many Bangkok postcards. The market is bustling with various boats selling fruits, vegetables and food, and we can take time to observe this traditional way of life. After having lunch, we return to Bangkok. En route, we stop at a farmhouse to see how locals make sugar from coconuts.We then head to Jim Thompson's house to see a collection of old Thai houses before going back to the hotel.

    Day04 Bangkok - Ayutthaya - Bangkok
    After breakfast, we drive from Bangkok to Ayutthaya for a day-trip. En route, we visit the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, which has been the biggest and most beautiful summer retreat for the royal family for centuries. As the ancient capital city for more than 400 years (1350-1767), Ayutthaya has numerous precious historical monuments. We then visit a selection of most-visited attractions including WatYai Chai Monghon, WihanPhramongkhonBophit, WatPhra Si Sanphet, WatMaha That and Wat Na Phra Mane. In the late afternoon, we transfer you back to the hotel in Bangkok.

    Day05 Bangkok - Siem Reap
    Have some free time until you are transferred to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap, the gateway city to the complex of Angkor Ruins of Cambodia. On arriving, our local guide will meet you at the airport exit. A private transfer takes you to the well-chosen hotel. You can spend the rest of the day simply relaxing at the hotel or exploring the Old Market in the city center on your own.

    Day06 Siem Reap
    An amazing day awaits you! We spend the whole morning exploring Angkor Thom, the Great City during the Khmer Empire, where you can see a cluster of temples each with its own unique features. The Bayon Temple and Elephant Terrace are considered as the most impressive of all. After having lunch at a local restaurant, we head to Angkor Wat. A 12th century masterpiece, Angkor Wat has ample detailed stonework and is the pinnacle of classical Khmer architecture and art. Travel to Bakheng Temple on the back of an elephant. It is said the sunset from this temple ranks as one of the most beautiful views on earth. In the evening, we enjoy an Apsara dinner show at the Angkor village resort.

    Day07 Siem Reap
    We can take you to view the spectacular sunrise at Angkor Wat if you are interested. After breakfast at the hotel, we set out for BanteaySrei Temple. On the way, we go through some small villages and see the locals. Although not a big temple, BanteaySrei Temple is built from pinkish red sandstone with detailed delicate carvings, which makes it quite different from the others. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Afterwards, we visit Ta Prohm Temple, which is also known as Jungle Temple for the centuries-old trees growing over the ruins. Our last stop today is the tallest Takeo Temple. If you are energetic enough, you can challenge yourself by climbing up to the top to take in the spectacular view.

    Day08 Siem Reap - Ho Chi Minh City
    This morning we leave for Tonle Sap Lake, to take a boat to visit the floating village. You will see how people live with houseboats, school, shops, a church and other facilities all totally on the water. After having lunch, we escort you to the airport for you to board the flight to Saigon. On arriving, you will be greeted and taken to the downtown hotel by our Vietnam guide. For the rest of the day, you may familiarize yourself with the city or have a good rest.

    Day09 Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnel - Ho Chi Minh City
    We start the day with a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a maze of underground air raid tunnels dug during the Vietnam War. To crawl through parts of the tunnels is an awesome and thought-provoking experience. Afterwards, we return to Ho Chi Minh City to explore the city's most popular sightseeing spots including the War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace, neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral and the City Center Post Office, all of which evoke a bygone era. We conclude the day with a leisurely stroll along Dong Khoi Street.

    Day10 Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong River Delta - Ho Chi Minh City
    Today we drive out of Ho Chi Minh City to visit the Mekong River Delta. It's about a two-hour ride to Cai Be. From there we take a boat to cruise along the Mekong River. En route, we see many barges filled with various fresh fruits, vegetables, rice and so on. We also visit a family-run workshop to watch the conventional way of processing coconut candy, rice paper rolls and swelled candy. Lunch is delicious food served at a local restaurant followed by a rowboat trip to the more rural area. Afterwards, we observe the plantation of local fruits and vegetables at a nursery garden. All these give us a very good idea of Vietnamese life along the river. Later our cruise arrives at VinhLong, from where we transfer back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

    Day11 Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang - Hoi An
    This morning you will take a flight to Da Nang. Our local guide will greet you at the airport and take you to the hotel in Hoi An. As a thriving trading port from the 15th to the 19th century, the ancient town of Hoi An has retained its charm with the Asian and French colonial architecture. After a short break, we'll have a half-day walking tour through the narrow streets with stopovers at the centuries-old Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Hall, Tan Ky ancestral house and the famed Japanese Bridge. To round off the day, we take a short boat trip on the tranquil Bon River. Evening is free for you to relax and enjoy the enchanting night view on your own.

    Day12 Hoi An - Hue
    After breakfast, we leave for Hue by a private car. We can feast our eyes on the charming scenery along the way. In particular, we will have a stopover at Hai Van Pass, from where we can get a stunning view of mountains, sea, coast and Da Nang City. We will take a drink at the fishing village of Lang Co. It will be early afternoon when we get to the hotel in Hue. After a brief rest, we have a walking tour around the town and visit the Royal Citadel, the Mausoleum of King TuDuc, the Imperial Museum and Dong Ba Market.

    Day13 Hue - Hanoi
    A visit to Thien Mu Pagoda is scheduled this morning. We shall take a private boat trip down Perfume River to reach this historical and culturally significant pagoda. Attractively set in gardens, monks live and practice their religion on-site; Thien Mu Pagoda is highly rated among visitors. Afterwards, you will take a flight to Hanoi. Our local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

    Day14 Hanoi
    What we show you today are the most-visited destinations in downtown Hanoi. First we head to Ba Dinh Square to visit the solemn Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Ming's Mausoleum and his former residence, the One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature. After having lunch, we proceed to HoanKiem Lake and have a relaxing cyclo trip. We then explore the vibrant Old Quarter, where people get a real Vietnamese experience. Afterwards, we transfer you back to the hotel.

    Day15 Hanoi - Halong Bay
    Sightseeing today brings us to Halong Bay, which was listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1994. A big breakfast at the hotel is advisable since the drive from Hanoi to Halong Bay takes three to four hours. Board a junk cruise to take in the fascinating landscape. You will see a great many big and small limestone islands. Lunch and dinner are all served on board. An excursion to one of Halong Bay's three largest limestone caves (ThienCung, Dau Go, or Sung Sot) is scheduled in the afternoon. For the rest of the day, you can enjoy lazing onboard or take part in the optional activities, including kayaking, diving and swimming. Stay overnight on the junk cruise.

    Day16 Halong Bay - Hanoi
    There will be people practicing Tai Chi on the top deck in the early morning. If you are interested, you can get up early and join in. Following a wake-up coffee or tea, you will take a rowboat to explore the nearby islands. After that, you will get back to your cruise and have brunch as the junk makes its way back to Halong pier. Our Hanoi guide and driver are ready to meet you as soon as you disembark. Drive back to your hotel in Hanoi. We leave the remainder of the day free for your own activities.
