  • Day01 Arrival in Hanoi
    On arrival at the Hanoi Airport, you will be greeted by our experienced tour guide outside the baggage claim area. A comfortable private vehicle will transfer you to a downtown hotel. Have a good rest for the remainder of the day.

    Day02 Hanoi
    After breakfast, let's set out for the most visited sightseeing spots in Hanoi. Our first stop is Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Ming's Mausoleum and his former residence. Here we can also see many locals paying homage to their cherished leader. Note that Ho Chi Ming's Mausoleum is closed every Monday and Friday, as well as every October and November. The neighboring One Pillar Pagoda and nearby Temple of Literature come next. After lunch, we proceed to HoanKiem Lake and the lively Old Quarter. After a cyclo trip around HoanKiem Lake, we can take time to soak up the atmosphere, local culture and way of life by walking through the crisscrossing streets of the Old Quarter. Late in the afternoon, we enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show and then return to the hotel.

    Day03 Hanoi - Halong Bay
    An exciting day awaits you! We'll drive for about 3.5 hours to Halong Bay, a stunning UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Board a cruise to enjoy the charming landscape. It is said that the sea of Halong Bay is dotted with more than 3000 limestone islands of various sizes and shapes. You will take an excursion to one of its three largest limestone caves (ThienCung, Dau Go or Sung Sot) to view a great many stalactites and stalagmites. Optional activities including kayaking, diving and swimming are also available. Stay overnight on the cruise.

    Day04 Halong Bay - Hanoi - Da Nang - Hoi An
    Following a wake-up coffee or tea, you will take a rowboat to explore the nearby islands. Then the cruise makes its way back to the pier and a generous brunch is served on board. As soon as your disembarkation, our tour guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to Hanoi airport for an afternoon flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, your local guide and driver will meet you and duly escort you to the hotel in Hoian. During the 30 minute ride to Hoi An, we can see typical local houses that are nicely built on the roadsides. Rest up for the reminder of the day or explore the lovely town a bit on your own.

    Day05 Hoian (Walking tour & Boat trip)
    Here comes another highlight day! By leisurely wandering about the charming historic town, we can see many centuries-old intact buildings including the Japanese Bridge, Chinese Assembly Hall, Chua Ong Pagoda, Tan Ky ancestral house and some colonial architectures. After having lunch at a fancy restaurant, we'll take a pleasant boat trip to a nearby island village and learn about the villagers' traditional way of making pottery. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon. The evening is free for you to relax. The town is beautifully lit up at night so you can enjoy the enchanting view at your own pace.

    Day06 Hoian - Da Nang - Hue
    We'll take a scenic drive from Hoian to Hue this morning. En route, we have several stops. We first visit Marble Mountain and Cham Museum. Non Nuoc Beach comes next. The fine white sand and clear blue water make this beach an ideal destination for sun-bathing and leisure. Further onward we get to Hai Van Pass, which is about 1500 kilometers above the sea level. Here we can get an amazing view of mountains, sea, coast and Da Nang City. Lunch is served at a fine restaurant in Da Nang. We will get to Hue in the afternoon. You can simply relax or walk around town after checking in the hotel.

    Day07 Hue
    A full day of sightseeing starts with the Tomb of Minh Mang. It has beautiful buildings, statues, gardens and pools restored in a peaceful setting. We then take a dragon boat on the Perfume River to arrive at Thien Mu Pagoda, a spiritual and historic site. Continue our visit to Hue Imperial City (The Citadel) and the Forbidden Purple City. Although a large part of the two palace complexes have been destroyed during the war, the preserved buildings still give you great insights into how grand they were in former times. We conclude the day tour after a stroll around Dong Ba Market where we can observe the real local life.

    Day08 Hue - Ho Chi Minh City
    Angkor Wat
    After breakfast, bid farewell to Hue and journey onto Ho Chi Minh City (also known as Saigon) by air in the morning. Our excellent local guide will await you at the airport and escort you to the comfortable hotel. A city tour covering the War Remnant Museum, the Reunification Palace, the neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral and the City's Centre Post Office is scheduled this afternoon. Afterwards, we'll explore the bustling Ben Thanh Market for all kinds of souvenirs.

    Day09 Ho Chi Minh City
    We start another wonderful day with Cao Dai Temple. As the third largest religion in Vietnam, Cao Dai is a fusion of different religious thoughts including Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity and Confucianism. The well-maintained Cao Tai Temple has combined Asian and European architecture style in a unique way. Also, you will find its building is amazingly colorful and ornate. It's a bonus to attend the mid-day service and learn about how worshippers carry out their rituals. After lunch, we drive to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, a maze of underground air raids tunnels dug during the Vietnam War.

    Day10 Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Can Tho
    After breakfast, we set out for My Tho, which is a city blessed with a variety of local fruits. Pay a visit to Vin Trang Pagoda. We then board a boat for a trip on the Mekong Delta. En route, we visit My Tho fish market, four islands and a coconut candy making workshop in Tan Thach. Afterwards, we transfer to Can Tho, the largest city in the Mekong Delta. You will have the rest of the day to be free on your own after check-in.

    Day11 Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Reap
    Bayon Temple in Siem Reap
    We will take a motor boat to visit the lively Cai Rang floating market this morning. This floating market is a traditional center of trading, here we can see a great many peddlers coming from nearby regions to do business here. It is absolutely a must and a savored experience for travelers. After that we drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and take a flight to Siem Reap. Our local guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel.

    Day12 Siem Reap
    Our morning excursion aims for the amazing Angkor Thom. As the "great city" of ancient Khmer Empire, Angkor Thom's majestic and stunning sights, especially the Bayon Temple and Elephant Terrace, never fail to win the admiration of visitors. After lunch, we continue our visit to the best-preserved part of Angkor Ruins, the Angkor Wat Temple. Then a short elephant ride takes us to Bakheng Temple, where one can enjoy a beautiful sunset. The Apsara Dinner Show is served at the Angkor village resort during the evening.

    Day13 Siem Reap

    If you are interested in watching the impressive sunrise over Angkor Wat, we can set out in the early morning. A take-away breakfast is available if requested. You can also return to the hotel to have it. We then head to BanteaySrei Temple, which is one hour's drive from downtown. We will pass by some local villages and stop for short visits. The detailed inscriptions and carvings in BanteaySrei Temple are mind-boggling. In the afternoon, we visit Ta Prohm Temple and Takeo Temple. Ta Prohm Temple is also called "Jungle Temple" for it is permeated with centuries-old trees in the ruins. Takeo Temple's popularity consists of its unpretentious beauty.

    Day14 Departure from Siem Reap
